Culturgest, Cultural Management, SA, is a Group company CGD created by deed, signed in July 1992 between the CGD, Caixa Investments, SGPS, SA and the Luso-American Developing. It covers the management of cultural spaces and the organization and development of cultural, artistic and scientific works, including art exhibitions, performances, seminars and conferences. Culturgest began operations on 1 December 1992 and opened their spaces to the public on 11 October 1993, with an extensive program of dance performances, theater, music, films and exhibitions, conferences and workshops. Culturgest work in parallel, as a service provider, renting their spaces to other entities for the performance of shows, conferences, meetings or other events. It also seeks to forge close collaboration with schools, universities and other training institutions. To this end, has two auditoriums, five meeting rooms and a VIP room.
